Data Input
We believe in making software available that is easy to use, requires minimal effort on the part of an administrator to get started and reeps benefit for an organisation in a short space of time.
One of the key benefits of using our online performance appraisal system is that an appraisal administrator only has to spend a small amount of time inputting organisational and employee data to get started using our software (and the system does the rest).
We also believe that it's important to make software easy to understand by a non-technical user and that an application is flexible enough to adapt to the needs of each individual business user.
The clever thing about all our software options is that we allow you as the system administrator to prescribe how you want the system to work for you (and you do not even need to be a software programmer to do it!)
Setting-up Appraisals and Data InputWithin a short space of time and with limited technical knowhow an appraisal system administrator can quickly set up employees, company details and appraisal questions.
Inputting Company DetailsWhatever the size or structure of your company (however obscure) our software can cope. We have a built-in company details section which allows you to set-up your company structure, assign logos to both top level and individual organisational level (personalising each appraisal questionnaire) and even assign different colours to individual appraisal questionnaire (see screenshot of "Company and Appraisal Scheme Setup"). Users of our software find these unique features particularly useful where employees are employed in different countries, at different locations and even employed by different subsidiaries of the same company.
Inputting Questions, Categories and People
To help an appraisal system administrator get started and send out appraisal questionnaire invitations, our online appraisal system includes 17 pre-populated core competency questions. Each pre-populated competency question includes a selection of sentances describing the particular competency and a rating scale defining the different levels of competency observed and achieved. You can use as many or as few of the pre-populated questions as you like and whichever ones are appropriate for your company. You can also use the questions as they are, add more information to the descriptive text, change the question title or delete any text you don't want, the choice is yours. Alternatively you can also set your own company specific questions, or use a combination of your own questions with our pre-populated questions, the choice is yours. (Our software also includes the facility to change the order of questions by using our innovative drag-and-drop facility, making it even easier to re-order your questions to suit your business). Once you have set your appraisal questions you are ready to assign them to a question category (see screenshot of "Appraisal Questions and Appraisal Questionnaire Categories"). As questions are assigned to a category, you only need to input a question once even if you want to use the same question for different cateogories of appraisees (e.g. leaders, line managers and team members). |
