Database Features

Easy to Use

The key design requirement is for the HR database to be as easy to use as possible, with most commonly used elements easily accessible. For example, accessing reports, finding staff details and making small changes to employee records can all be achieved quickly.

You can start using the software immediately, with no need to spend time configuring options. If you need to, employee records can be customised, changing field names, adding extra information, or removing items you don't use.

The Reports You Need

A key benefit of any HR database is management reporting. A range of built in reports allow access to employee information across a number of business areas. Reports can be customised to show different sets of information and filtered to include or exclude particular criteria. Reports can be exported and saved as Acrobat PDF files.

Graphical charts are available, allowing comparative analysis of various information. These graphs can be saved, allowing direct inclusion into presentations and reports.

Reliable and Secure

Access to the database is secured with usernames and passwords. If you use our online hosted database, access is secured with SSL. This encryption technology prevents anyone 'listening-in' to your information. Our databases are regularly backed up, with additional backup options available to allow your own additional backups to be made.

Scalable and Extendable

Labels can be customised, translated, extended or removed. There is no limit in the system for the number of employees that can be stored, and full historical archives are maintained.

The open source nature of the software allows the software to be modified, adapted or extended if required. If you need a feature that isn't available, it can usually be implemented without difficulty. The system is designed to be integrated with other systems as painlessly as possible.

An innovative multi-user database engine is designed to support access for multiple HR administrators. The system uses a non-blocking approach, which ensures administrators always have access to the information they need, without waiting.
