Dismissal for Gross Misconduct

On the rare occasion a situation may arise whereby you have no other option but to dismiss an employee with immediate effect (i.e. dismissal without notice). Typically this occurs in cases of Gross Misconduct.

This standard letter ensures managers:

  • confirm the disciplinary decision reached
  • summarise contractual entitlements and obligations
  • confirm immediate employment termination
  • advise the right of appeal
